Breaking the Ice

Every semester, we start new Small Groups at our church. And every semester that I've been leading, I've dreaded the first week. Let's all play some random get to know you game while eating lots of food. Sounds fun, right?

The problem comes with the ice breaker games. They've all been done...and I'm not a huge fan of any of them! When you ask me to tell three things about myself, I feel obligated to tell super fun and interesting things that no one knows. Problem = I'm fairly transparent. And I've been in small group with a lot of these women for a long time. So, I usually go with things like "I'm married to Moose," which isn't quite invigorating! Sunday night, I tried to come up with some good ones...and ended up stressed and going with the generic again. Fail. At least the ice is broken and we don't have to do it again until next semester!

So, for fun-tell me how you would've answered the question: Tell three interesting facts about yourself!

Ps-we are doing Hebrews by Lisa Harper. If you want to follow along, we will be starting on Sunday. I may post our discussion thoughts each Monday for the next 7 if I hear any interest.
