#SavilleLifeInPictures2014. Week 33

Day 222: got to hang out with these and the silly youth as we played the real life game of Clue!

Day 223: we had a goodbye party for Christina at work this day. I didn't work with her for long, but she was such a joy to work with!

Day 224: ...and they said this road wasn't hilly! Cross Country practice is in full force!

Day 225: Selfie practice with these girls. Love my people.

Day 226: I thought I would scrounge around for food at home, but nothing suited my fancy. I dragged Moose to Hardee's at 9:45 and got this bag. They must know this girl's eating habits!!

Day 227: got to play teacher today as I began my short long-term sub! Mrs. Williams' room is read to go!

Day 228: cleaned out and organized my fridge door. I realized my husband has a major hot sauce problem! I mean a whole shelf?!? But, it was pointed out that we both have a condiment issue. We like our sauces. ;)

It's back to school for me tomorrow! Taking classes and doing a long term sub! Hopefully, my blogging regime will get back on track with my schedule adjustment!

Keep up with me on Instagram (1988Megan) to follow me day-by-day.

Florida Vacation

Last Saturday, our family loaded up two cars, ten people, fifteen + suitcases, coolers, beach chairs, a kayak, and (you get the idea) etc. We headed out at the ungodly hour of sometime before 7 a.m. for Florida.

With only two stops--one for lunch and one for complementary OJ, we made it to our beach house in record time. We immediately headed to the grocery store, by way of a tour of the area. Then, we spent some time in the pool, hot tub, and kayak practicing.

Sunday was a super relaxing day of beach time. We really enjoyed just hanging out and sitting. I also worked on my tan for the first time in a long time! I read several books (and discussed the art of speed reading with my family). All in all, the beach days were some of my favorite! We spent Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the beach. Here are some of my favorite shots from the beach days:

Monday night was spent at the racetrack...the greyhound dog racetrack! I love going to see these races and trying my hand at picking the winner. Moose and I were very lucky and chose several of the winning/placing dogs!

We went to Seaworld on Thursday...and I will reserve that for another day, but I LOVED it! We debated whether to go to Seaworld or Universal, and cost dictated our choice! However, I really enjoyed the shows and the rides.

We all went out and played putt-putt one evening. I was second! (behind Micah by one stroke...booooo) The best part about this evening was watching Meemaw and Peepaw enjoy themselves by doing something they probably had not done in years. It was so special to me!

We took all sorts of family pictures when walking around Daytona, going out to eat, and just enjoying each other's company. I'm so grateful for a family who can spend time together!

I love my people! I'm so grateful for them :)

#SavilleLifeInPictures2014. Weeks 30 and 31

I have been conspicuously absent from the blog over the past two weeks because we've been super busy!!! Life has gotten in the way and it's a great thing. We crammed a lot into these last two weeks of summer and I have a lot to tell you about. But first-the Saville life for the past two weeks.

Week 30--
Day 201: I spent my Sunday evening working on a project! Wardrobe doors = jewelry cabinet.

Day 202: this, my friends is what procrastination looks like. Online classes are wonderful, but midnight deadlines are temptresses to my procrastinating self!

Day 203: sometimes a 9 pm trip to the clock is the best night cap!

Day 204: we finished my back yard makeover and started Micah and Chelsea's!

Day 205: race packet stuffing party. Getting ready for the Color Run!!!

Day 206: palmetto XC hosted our first color run. Over 180 runners, 20 gallons of paint, and 200 white TShirts took on this crazy night. It was a blast...literally.

Day 207: lots of driving, a quick beach time, kayak practice, a yummy rest area OJ make for a great first day of vacation!

Week 31---
Day 208: A porch swing bed, a new book, a Victorian house, and a rainy Sunday afternoon = happy.

Day 209: greyhound races in Daytona. #herecomeslucky

Day 210: super fun day out and about in Daytona.

Day 211: seafood with my crazy family!
Bonus-we then ALL played putt putt:

Day 212: had so much fun at Seaworld with my favorite people!

Day 213: last night of Vacation. Wonderful week in Florida!!!

Day 214: home. 💚

Stay tuned for lots of recap posts coming up this week!!!
